Bleachtone is a unique product that is used to create the
popular pickle-frost look. Bleachtone allows end users to achieve a
transparent layer of color on maple that does not block out the grain.
Bleachtone is white in color but can be tinted with colorants to create
custom colors. Bleachtone can be sprayed directly onto the wood or
added (no more than 40%) to E-Z Vinyl Sealer for improved color control. Bleachtone should be sprayed at
approximately 30 p.s.i. and applied in multiple coats, similar to an Ultra Penetrating Stain to achieve the desired color. Glaze can be applied over Bleachtone to create a variety of popular looks.
